Minicabs.co.uk covers the whole of London and surrounding areas for all types of journeys. We also offer a reliable Airport Transfer for pickup and drop to five major airports (Heathrow, Luton, Gatwick, Stansted and London City.)
We have a large fleet of PCO licensed vehicles including Saloon, Estate, MPV, Large MPV (8 Seater) and also executive cars. If you are not sure which vehicle you will require you can find more information about the capacity of our vehicles on step two of the booking stage. By Law all minicab companies within London have to be licensed by the Public Carriage Office (Transport For London.) Our Operator License No is 06242/01/01

Booking

We have made the online booking process very simple and user friendly allowing you to complete a booking within three simple steps.
  1. Simply select your Pickup and Destination address and click Get Quotes.
  2. Next, select the vehicle you require.
  3. Final step is to enter the journey details i.e time and number of passengers and click Book Now.
Simple as you like it. If you face any difficulties or require assistance our live chat facility is available 24 hours a day. Alternatively call us on +44 208 204 4444.
It is not required to pre-book your ride however we would advise you to to prevent any disappointment. For airport travels we recommend at least 24 Hours notice. If you are not sure what time to leave then you can ask us on Live Chat 24 Hours a Day. For Large 8 Seater bookings we recommend at least 48 hours notice due to high demand.
Yes, we operate 24 Hours a day, 365 days a year. Our control room is manned throughout the whole day and can be contacted on +44 208 204 4444 for any queries.
On the final step of the booking process there is an option to enter our discount voucher just above the ‘Book Now’ section. Once you have enter it and have clicked ‘Apply’, a message will appear saying ‘Voucher Applied!!’ Once this has been applied you can still choose to pay via Cash, Card or PayPal. To avoid disappointment, please pre-book your journey with the office and not the Driver. We do not encourage private bookings with the Drivers, as these bookings are illegal, not confirmed, and are not covered by the Driver's insurance.
Our fleet is primarily Private Hire, which means your minicab must be booked and dispatched via our control room. Not only does this ensure that you will be picked up by a proper licensed driver and vehicle but also means that the vehicle is legally insured. Only Black Cab Taxis may be hailed in London.

We always try to arrange a child seat for you, however as it is not a legal requirement in a minicab or taxi we cannot guarantee it.

Children can travel without one - but only if they travel on a rear seat:

  • and wear an adult seat belt if they’re 3 or older
  • without a seat belt if they’re under 3

Airport Transfer

Our team closely monitor your flight which is why we require the flight number for any airport pickup. Once the flight has landed the driver will meet you accordingly after landing i.e if you requested the driver to meet you 30 minutes after landing then regardless of the landing time. You will not have to pay extra if your flight is delayed. For more info Click Here
If your flight is diverted to another airport then please contact our control room immediately on +44 208 204 4444 or email us on bookings@minicabs.co.uk so we can make the necessary changes to your booking or cancel it if you wish so.We would recommend you let us know as soon as you are made aware the flight is going to be diverted or cancelled so we can make the necessary adjustments and avoid any cancellation charges that you may incur. If your flight is rescheduled then please contact us with the new flight number.
The meeting points vary depending on the airport and terminal (See below for the meeting points). For Luton and Stansted it will cost £3 extra for the driver to collect you from inside whereas for all other airports the price includes being collected from inside.
  • Heathrow Terminal 1: Costa Coffee (Located on the right hand side as you walk in- Directly opposite the baggage reclaim hall).
  • Heathrow Terminal 2: Caffè Nero (The big Caffè Nero is next to Boots which is on the left hand side as you walk in - On the right hand side as you come out of international baggage reclaim hall).
  • Heathrow Terminal 3: Caffè Nero (Located next to Boots - On left hand side as you come down the lift or stairs from the car park - Towards the left when you come out of baggage reclaim hall).
  • Heathrow Terminal 4: Costa Coffee (Located directly in between both entrances to the terminal- Directly opposite the baggage reclaim hall).
  • Heathrow Terminal 5: Costa Coffee (Located in the middle of the terminal in between all entrances - Directly opposite the baggage reclaim hall)
  • Gatwick Airport North: Costa Coffee (On the left as you come out of domestic arrivals - Behind the exit for internationals arrivals. You will have to come round to the right behind from where they came out from. They will find it opposite WHSmith).
  • Gatwick Airport South: Costa Coffee (Opposite the international baggage reclaim hall towards the right slightly).
  • London City Airport: Pret A Manger (Located on left hand side after coming out from baggage claim).
  • Luton Airport: Short Stay Pick Up Point (Included in Price) -Priority Pick Up Zone is the closest Pick Up option, this is located near the short stay Car Park.
  • Luton Airport: Costa Coffee - For only £3 Extra you can request the driver to meet you inside the Airport at the Costa Coffee. (Located on the left hand side as soon as you come out of the arrivals from the baggage claim)
  • Stansted Airport: Pick Up Point - (Included in Price) - Express Set Down Point is the best Pick up option , which is located right outside Arrivals gate outside the Airport building, There are Zone C & Zone D just outside Arrivals and you can instruct your driver where exactly you are waiting.
  • Stansted Airport: Costa Coffee - (Located on the left hand side as you enter the terminal, On the right hand side as you come out of international baggage claim).

Pricing & Payment

Whether you book online, on our shiny new app(do not include for sites with no APP) or over the phone you can pay:
  1. Cash to driver
  2. Securely through PayPal
  3. Securely via Credit or Debit Card
You can still pay by Paypal or Card even after you have already made the booking online but have selected cash. Simply contact us on the live chat facility which is available 24 hours a day or send us an email to bookings@minicabs.co.uk.
We are proud to have been offering a fixed price policy for over 20 years. The price you have been quoted online or over the phone is the price you will pay. This will only change if you add an additional stop, change your destination or require a different vehicle. For more info click here
You can always request a receipt from your driver once the journey is completed. Alternatively you can send us an email at bookings@minicabs.co.uk or call us on +44 208 204 4444 and a member of the team will be happy to help.
This is not required and you can pay cash at the end of your journey. Alternatively you also can pay via card and PayPal online at the end of the journey. In some vehicles we have a facility to pay via Chip and Pin as well as contactless. Alternatively should you wish to pay via card or PayPal then simply contact us on +44 208 204 4444before the end of the journey. However It is our company policy for any long distance journey to be prepaid in advance (or at least 50%), so if you have booked this as a cash fare then a member of the team may contact you regarding making payment. Minicabs.co.uk also has the right to request prepayment on any other trips.

Unfortunately we do not take any payments over the phone however you can pay online via card or PayPal.

Calcelations & Refunds

We understand sometimes your plan can change so of course you can cancel your booking. You can do so up until the vehicle has been dispatched without any charge, However if it is cancelled after this you may incur a cancellation fee. For more info Click Here
Once you make a booking with us then it is our responsibility to provide you with the service/s you have requested or paid for. In the event of a breakdown we will provide you with another vehicle at no additional cost to yourself. We will never leave you stranded and that is a promise!

Drivers & Vehicles

If you cannot locate your driver and have not received an SMS with the driver details then simply call us on +44 208 204 4444 and a member of our team will be happy to help. If you booked online or on our shiny new app then the these details can be found under ‘My Bookings’

Lost & Found

All lost property found in our vehicles is handed into one of our offices in North West London. If you wish to have the item delivered then a minicab fare will be charged from the office to the delivery address. Alternatively you can collect the item free of charge from our offices. Please contact us on +44 208 1816 .However, any items found are kept in our office for four weeks and if they are not claimed then we hand them into any near Police Station.
