Are London Airport Flights Cancelled Again?
There have been further flight delays and cancellations across the UK today following a technical issue at the NATS Prestwick Centre in Scotland.
NATS confirmed that the issue was a connectivity problem affecting part of its systems network. Air traffic restrictions were introduced while engineers investigated the problem. NATS has since confirmed that the issue has been fixed, but warned that remaining restrictions and knock-on disruption could continue.
London Gatwick and London City Airport have reported some disruption, while the wider impact has been more significant at airports in Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland.
This means that London airports are not completely closed, and not every flight has been cancelled. Your individual flight may still operate normally, so passengers should check directly with their airline.

The latest disruption was caused by a new technical issue at NATS’ Prestwick air traffic control centre.
